These Photographs have been provided by Sally-Anne Barrett and are of her father, Wing Commander Clive Stanley George Stanbury, who was Commanding Officer of 624 Squadron at Blida. Wing Commander Stanbury went on to become Group Captain and in 1954 was selected as captain of Aries 1V, a Canberra bomber for the first navigation proving flight by an RAF jet aircraft over the magnetic North Pole.
